Just bought a 2026 Subaru Outback Wilderness edition! We are so excited! We honestly had such a great experience throughout this purchase! Our salesman was great!! We inquired on line about a couple cars we saw on their website yesterday and Andrew sent videos of each car right away. We decided to drive up from Lincoln Ca after work and test drove the River Rock Pearl color and loved it! Andrew was so nice and knowledgeable and professional. We did not feel any pressure to buy on the spot which was different than other dealerships. We said we would think about it and then this morning we decided we wanted to buy it, If we could reach a reasonable deal. Through texting and email this morning, which was how we wanted to communicate, we came to a deal we feel really good about! Everyone at Gold Rush was nice and low key and it definitely had a much less corporate feeling there. I love a small town, family vibe and that’s exactly what this experience was like! It was a pleasure doing business both with Andrew and this dealership in general!! If you are looking at Subarus, I highly encourage you to allow them the opportunity to earn your business!

An oil leak was found on my 2023 Subaru Forester Sport. The service Dept went over the top in meeting the needs of getting the part ordered, an unusual find in the tube seal exploding. I just bought a 2026 Forester Limited Hybrid. Initially I only wanted to get OTD pricing and trade in value for my Outback as I didn’t want to be pressured. I was inundated with calls and emails from other dealers but with Gold Rush I dealt with Jonathan. He was great. I didn’t feel any pressure at all. He was responsive to all of my questions and the OTD price remained the same and not changed at last minute unlike previous experiences elsewhere. So Gold Rush got my business. This was the complete opposite experience. Cory was fantastic from start to finish. He was honest, upfront, and transparent throughout the entire process, which I appreciated more than I can put into words. We wanted to check out the brand new Uncharted EV and our salesperson was Jonathon. He was FANTASTIC! We are new to the world of EV but he has extensive knowledge of many makes and models and easily answered any and all of our questions. As most know, buying a vehicle turns into a long process and he also fed us dinner while working through paperwork, which was incredibly unexpected and so so appreciated! Around the middle of April my wife and I were up in Auburn 'playing' and rather spontaneously we swung by Gold Rush Subaru to check out the Forester Hybrid we had heard about a couple years earlier when we began our journey into EV vehicles. It was late on a Sunday and we honestly thought everyone had gone home so we walked the lot checking out new Subarus. Then we heard a voice ask if we needed help and Jess Jasper walked over and introduced herself and answered out casual Qs about Hybrids and whatnot. Even though it was closing time, she was happy to give a test drive but we were feeling guilty of holding someone late. Fast forward six weeks later...we've held her late TWICE, buying that Forester Hybrid that had caught our eye and just now taking advantage of the 0% APR on a fully EV Uncharted. I guess we're done with buying new cars for a while! Jess was amazing, putting us at ease, making the entire experience wonderful and...warm and fuzzy...it was like buying a vehicle from family more than the archetypical 'cars salesperson'. Jesse Lee helped my wife with her Forester after a couple of weeks to learn some tricks and shortcuts to get the most out her car, a very wonderful service! I already have Qs for my opportunity to do the same for the Uncharted (to which Jesse has already answered within 12 hours!!!). The sales & contract portion was just as equally homey. 'ell, I just want to hang out there with what feels like newfound friends and give testimonials on how much we love Subarus and the staff at Gold Rush. I will certainly send anyone I hear thinking of getting a Subaru to Gold Rush to check them out first. We were looking for a 2026 Subaru Solterra Touring XT leather in Mica Midnight. It was a relatively rare combination at the time but we were able to find it through Carguru and we reached out to Gold Rush Subaru to inquire on it. I worked with Jessica and she was very responsive and friendly. She did let me know that the vehicle was in transit at the time but we were allowed to put a deposit hold on it, which is what we ended up doing. Vehicle shipping can be variable and is out of the dealership's hands. Original ETA was 4/22 but was updated to 4/30. The car ended up being delivered on 4/28 (Jessica was prompt to let us know) and we went up to Auburn on 4/29 to pick up. After the vehicle was delivered, we met with Jessica the following day and did our inspections and test drive and proceeded with the purchase. Most of the price negotiating was done online via text message and we confirmed the negotiated price matched what was on paper. We met with the finance person, Justin, and he was very nice. He made the financing portion a quick and pleasant experience. He was not pushy with additional add-ons and is willing to tweak terms and prices if you had interest. After the purchase and finance portion was completed, we met with Jesse and did a detailed explanation of the car's features such as the self-parking feature and the car's infotainment system. Overall, the dealership and their staff were a pleasure to work with. I would consider going back if my next future car is a subaru.

We found that they really worked hard to find us a solution. Jonathan was great at coordinating what we needed with finance office.

We just had a great experience purchasing a new vehicle from Gold Rush Subaru, specifically Bill McCoy. We knew basically what we wanted when we walked in, a Subaru Forester Hybrid. Bill took us through our options, had me test drive one, and showed us all the features this vehicle had. When they didn't have the color I was hoping for, they did a search and found one in the Sacramento area and had it driven up for me. Bill was not only extremely knowledgeable about Subarus, he was kind and actually made the process fun! Probably the nicest car buying experience I've had. Then, just when I thought the customer service could not have been better, Jesse Lee walked up and introduced himself as my Delivery Specialist, here to help me learn all the features on my new vehicle. He said we'd schedule an appointment in a week or two and he can answer all my questions and show me features I may not have found yet. That appointment was this past Saturday. I thought I had figured most things out by now, but Jesse walked me through things I was not aware of! He's a great teacher and had all the patience in the world for me. Overall such a great experience with Bill and Jesse, and I would highly recommend them both if you are looking to purchase a Subaru. It's our 3rd Subaru, and this one is even more amazing than our last!

Mike waited patiently until we made the decision to schedule and was going to be off but arranged for Cory Burnett to show us the vehicle and do a test drive. Cory was very welcoming and spent a good amount of time going over the vehicle specifics. While trying to make the sale he did not make us feel pressured as we were not ready to make a purchase that day and wanted to look at another vehicle before making a final decision. We appreciated that both Mike and Cory contacted us over the next few days asking if there was any more information they could provide and answered our questions without ever making us feel uncomfortable. I absolutely love my new 2026 Outback I just bought at Gold Rush Subaru in Auburn. It was such a POSITIVE EXPERIENCE for me and the entire crew at Gold Rush Subaru did such an amazing job to make me feel comfortable while I was there. They answered all my questions and made sure I understood everything. It was the easiest car purchase I've ever had and I kind of felt like I was getting the VIP treatment during my entire visit. I made an appointment with Mike Carlson but I wasn't even sure I was going to buy an SUV that day. I searched California for a curtain model of Subaru Forester Hybrid with several dealers. I received several OTD prices for this hard-to-find car. Mike Carlson saw my request and called me for more details. A day later he contacted me after locating the car that met my requirements and then provided on OTD price that beat all the others. He arranged to have the car delivered to his location at Gold Rush Subaru where I confirmed it was the car I was looking for. Purchasing the car was very easy as all the numbers were as presented before I arrive with no unexpended cost additions. Mike was great with no " high pressure" sales and was a pleasure to work with.

I had to find a quick replacement for a family vehicle and took a chance with Gold Rush Subaru. This was the most stress free, car buying expierence I've had to date. I’ve worked with Chris before with my older Subaru Outback. He is so trustworthy, kind, and extremely knowledgeable!
